on truth and mushrooms
The premise of truth, valid by the truth-teller, can only be qualified by what one’s mind, heart and intellect expose as truth by the truth-seeker.
In degrees, I hold the truth. It is not freely shared. I wonder if in holding it I am stealing, since truth belongs to all and keeping it to myself may be thought of as theft.
Paradox. Precluding one from self-support through expression of the understanding.
Content. Grocery store labels. Truth hidden within names. Theft.
Display. Nabisco greets the visitor, hiding the sensuality of the salad. Theft.
Treated like mushrooms we are.
Must not succumb to the darkness nor the nourishment.
